what a fun session this was!! she's gorgeous, huh?!
kari you were nervous for nothing...you were a rockstar!! we hit some great locations, had beautiful weather and lots of laughs. what more could you ask for?! i had SO many pictures to post to the blog, but i had to narrow it down (and there are still a ton!). kari, i hope you love them!! it was great to meet you, mom and auntie! thanks for a great time!

{5 pounds of heaven}

10 day old, miss r, has stolen my heart!! she surprised mom and dad by coming 4 weeks early (we even missed out on maternity photos that we had planned)...but what an angel she is! weighing only 5 pounds, she is the smallest newborn i've ever photographed. and OH SO ADORABLE! if i didn't have baby fever before, i do now! haha!

{j + c = married}

jason and cassie were married on saturday. we had an amazing time at their wedding. jason and cassie are surrounded by an incredible circle of family and friends who support them and love them so much. it was such a joy to be a part of it.
the sun was shining, cassie was stunning, jason was beaming....it truly was a beautiful, beautiful day!!
j and c, thank you for welcoming us into your family for the day. we enjoyed every second of it. i hope you have a great trip back home and enjoy your sneak peek!!

i always love the dances with mom and dad...they make me tear up every time and this day was no exception...


and cassie and jason now share their wedding date with cassie's mom and dad. they were celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary...congrats!

{one last time}

a couple days after the a and m's wedding we headed out to get some more photos of them.
most photographers call this a "trash the dress" session....but quite frankly, we don't trash the dress, but we do get it dirty! it's just a fun time to get some more photos with a relaxed couple without the stresses that can come with the wedding day...and it's a chance for the bride to wear her dress "one last time".

oh my...miss grace is one sweet little girl! she is nine days today and just a complete joy. we finally talked her in to sleeping for us....(after many potty accidents-ha ha). she was so content and i enjoyed every second!! thank you for spending the morning with me and letting me cuddle your little one....you are lucky parents! enjoy your peek!!

m and p traveled all the way from arizona to get married in glacier national park. it was typical montana weather and you just never know what your going to get...we got clouds, wind, a bit of rain and a cold bride.....but it was a beautiful, intimate ceremony that turned out perfectly!

i seriously LOVE every second of what i do! what a great time i had tonight. i always love the chance to get out and take pictures of girls....with only boys in my house, girls are so much fun for me! s and a are daughters of a dear friend of mine. i took them out tonight for a sister session. so much fun! aren't they beautiful!!! and they really are the two sweetest girls i know.

{sessions update}

i am currently booked for june and july (with the exception newborns from the expecting mothers i have already spoke with). if you are looking to book a summer session, i have a very limited amount of spots left (2, maybe 3) for august.
i am now booking for september/october. it's not to early to start thinking about fall photos!

today i met the best couple! seriously.
courtney contacted me a while back about doing some photos for them. her 3 year wedding anniversary was coming up and she wanted to get some photos of her and her husband, brandon, because they have never had professional photos of them....that's right...not even wedding pictures. something went wrong with the photographers camera and they had no photos....heartbreaking, huh?!
they have only been in montana a few months and will only be here a few months more, so i hope i gave them a little piece of montana that they can always have with them.

{2 week old beauty}

this morning i was lucky enough to meet a gorgeous baby girl. miss raylee is the most content baby i may have ever been around. she was so happy and so sweet. i could not get over how long and beautiful her eyelashes are...so gorgeous!!

so, this was my first time photographing twins.....and i could not have asked for a more adorable pair of little girls! 20 month old m and j were cute as can be singing songs, telling stories and running around! they sure made me work for the shot, but i loved every second of it!! it was so wonderful to meet all of you tonight. hope you enjoy your sneak peek!!

today was round 2 of pictures with the matilda jane outfits! {6 months}

i did little miss p a few days ago, but it was too cold to get some bare bum shots, so we had another go at it today. she was happy as can be for just a bit and then, bless her heart, she feel asleep right there on the table. such a doll!




it's always so fun to watch the little ones grow up. i took a picture of her in a tutu last time (mom was a ballerina), so we thought we'd get another one so you could see how much she grew. so funny that she is asleep in both shots.

i got love for matilda jane!!

OH MY GOODNESS!!! i have fallen in LOVE....with clothes. :) today i did a shoot for the amazing matilda jane clothing company and i can not begin to tell you how fantastic these outfits are! the are just gorgeous. the colors, the fabrics, the detail....amazing! make sure you go check out her site, matilda jane, and see everything they have to offer. i'm positive that you will fall in love too!
